Captain Rick has a local friend Courtney Bland, visit the Elf at its port in St. Michaels Maryland. Courtney trades a bottle of Long Splice wine from the St. Michaels Winery to be a member of the sailing crew on board the Elf. As the day progresses, appetites lend the way to another quick seafood delight. Captain Rick makes way to the galley to create a special dish “The Elf Shrimp Salad” After a “little” taste of wine, Captain Rick uses the Long Splice wine to marinate the shrimp. He also introduces a special ingredient along with fruit to compliment this light fare dish.
